 UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS

I. Machine Manufacturing Technology (Công nghệ chế tạo máy)

Graduates possess management skills combined with specialized knowledge to design, manufacture, assemble, operate, and repair equipment, machinery, and production systems in general—and mechanical systems in particular.

What will you study?

·         Fundamental Engineering: Theoretical mechanics, strength of materials, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, technical drawing, principles of machinery, machine elements, manufacturing technology, and electricity.

·         Specialized Knowledge: Machining practices, jigs and fixtures, measurement tolerances, molds/dies, agricultural machinery, food processing machinery, mechanical system design, PLC programming, hydraulics, pneumatics, automated production systems, smart manufacturing systems, industrial electrical equipment, CNC machines, geometric modeling and simulation, maintenance management, and project management.

Career Opportunities:

·         Production system management engineer, shift supervisor, or workshop manager.

·         Electromechanical engineer.

·         Maintenance engineer for production systems.

·         Machine design and product development engineer.

·         Quality Assurance (QA) engineer.

Facilities: Fitting shop, welding shop, foundry and heat treatment shop, lathe shop, milling shop, CNC shop, hydraulics-pneumatics lab, PLC lab, metrology lab, mechanical properties lab, computer lab, and 3D printing lab.


II. Mechatronics Engineering Technology (Công nghệ kỹ thuật cơ điện tử)

Graduates combine management skills with expertise in design, manufacture, assembling, operating, and repair highly automated equipment and machinery that integrate electronics, control programming, and machine design.

What will you study?

·         Fundamental Engineering: Theoretical mechanics, strength of materials, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, technical drawing, principles of machinery, machine elements, manufacturing processes, electricity, electronics, and automatic control engineering.

·         Specialized Knowledge: Mechanical system design, PLC programming, microcontrollers, robotics, process control, servo control, sensors and actuators, automated and smart production systems, industrial electrical equipment, CNC machines, pneumatics, hydraulics, geometric modeling and simulation, maintenance management, and project management.

 III. Thermal Engineering (Kỹ thuật nhiệt)

Graduates combine management skills with expertise to design, manufacture, assemble, operate, and repair machinery and systems in the thermal industry, such as drying, refrigeration, and air conditioning.

What will you study?

·         Fundamental Engineering: Theoretical mechanics, strength of materials, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, technical drawing, machine design, manufacturing processes, thermal and refrigeration materials, heat and mass transfer, and fundamentals of refrigeration/AC/drying.

·         Specialized Knowledge: Pumps, fans, and compressors; design of refrigeration and AC systems; drying machinery and technology; PLC programming; thermal automation; industrial electrical equipment; REVIT design; project management; new and renewable energy; and energy management.

Career Opportunities:

·         Management engineer for refrigeration, AC, and compressor systems.

·         Electromechanical engineer (Design of refrigeration, AC, and cleanroom systems).

·         Maintenance engineer specializing in thermal/cooling sources.

·         Drying machine design and manufacturing engineer.

Facilities for Learning: Fitting shop, welding shop, lathe shop, milling shop, image processing [lab], air conditioning workshop (maintenance and repair of refrigeration and AC equipment, chillers, and central air conditioning systems), refrigeration workshop (ice machines, flash freezers/cold storage), fluid mechanics and thermodynamics lab, heat transfer lab, Mechatronics 2 Lab (thermal industry automation and industrial electrical equipment for thermal systems), and computer labs (Revit, AutoCAD).
