CORE VALUES

Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade continuously strives to build a “distinctive culture” based on four core values aligned with its educational philosophy (abbreviated in English as HUIT):

Humanities: For the comprehensive development of learners, placing them at the center of all educational activities.

Unity: Every breakthrough success originates from creativity and individual value; however, the key to sustainable success is based on unity and shared intelligence.

Forward: Striving to take the lead in university governance, education, and science & technology, particularly in the fields of food and service industries.

Innovation: The primary driver of sustainable development is innovation, based on the assimilation of global knowledge, the inheritance of past achievements, and the promotion of valuable traditional values.

EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

With the principle that learners must be proactive in their learning process, the University adopts self-directed learning as the primary approach and places learners at the center of all educational activities. Students are encouraged to develop creative thinking and continuously adapt to social changes based on the knowledge and skills they are trained in. They are also guided to enhance autonomy and responsibility in order to integrate quickly and effectively into the community and professional environment. Accordingly, the educational philosophy of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade is: “Proactive Learning, Creative Working”.
